There has been a series of alumni meets in USA this year, where faculty have met around 30-35 alumni across, SFO and New York. Prof Abbas met alumni in Boston and SFO, where our alumnus, Dipanjan Purkayastha (PGDM 2002) helped with the arrangement for the Boston Meet on 18th June, whereas Nivedita Kanakkoor (PGDM 2009) helped organize the San Francisco meet on 30th June.

The SPJIMR Alumni Meet at New York was held on 9th July. We appreciate the help of alumni, Rohit Jayachandran(2003) and Gaurav Agarwal(2002) who helped organize the meet.

Prof Abbas and Prof Aditi met the alumni from the PGDSM MIT and PGDM programs. There was a lively discussion about how international alumni can be engaged with the institution. Many of them have volunteered for the ALPAL program - where the Alumni will mentor a group of 3-4 current participants.
