The SPJIMR Alumni Meet held on 11th February 2012, at the Institute of Hotel Management, Bangalore was with a difference! It was organized by the alumni themselves. Swagat Basak (2008), Madhusudan (2010) and Meenakshy V (2008) took a lead role in organizing the Meet. The alumni applauded for the efforts taken by the threesome in organizing this Meet. Kudos to the three of them!

Many faculty were present for the meet as this coincided with the PGDM admission interviews in Bangalore - Prof Abbasali Gabula, Prof Aditi Divatia, Prof Bindu Kulkarni, Dr. Uma Narayan, Prof Vasant Sivaraman, Prof Keith D’Souza, Prof Kshirsagar, Dr. Indu Niranjan, Dr.Suryavanshi, Dr. Ajit Prasad and Prof Jayaraman.

The Meet started with a few ice breaker games and then a round of introductions from all alumni present. The group varied from 1997 – 2010. An alumnus from 1984 batch, Mr S.G Sitaram was also present. He was delighted to be connected to the institute after many years!

The ALMart merchandise put up for sale, drew a good response from the alumni. A happy evening with lots of networking ended with a good dinner.
