The BNHS Shilonda Nature trail conducted by ALCOM’11 on Sep 18th was everything we were looking forward to and much more. Waking up early on a Sunday morning, the entire SPJIMR ALCOM team was pepped up to start the first such initiative for the alumni of the Mumbai Chapter. There was a wonderful response from the alumni and their family to take part in this beautiful nature walk.

The walk itself was very exciting and informative - thanks to the guides from BNHS who pointed out all flora and fauna as we walked along, which otherwise one would have missed out on. The children had a lot of fun and learnt a lot of forest facts in a fun way. The nature walk culminated at a peaceful gurgling stream flowing through the forest. The serene atmosphere brought out the kids in all, including alumni and professors, resulting in all splashing around in the stream. It was a great opportunity for the ALCOM and alumni to bond amongst themselves. After a refreshing picnic at the stream it was time to go back with a bunch of memories!
