Spandan 2009

“Spandan” meaning “beating of the heart”, when applied in the context of the SPJIMR Alumni converts to the heartbeat of the alumni network, as the beat rang loud & fervent through all who attended SPandan ’09!

Spandan’ 09, the annual alumni meet was held on the 12th of December this year. It was a landmark event which saw participation of Alumni from all programs run at SPJIMR.

The event went extremely well with participation from more than 250 alums and their families. It was an evening marked by happy reunion, fellowship & nostalgia. The Alumni-Dean interaction session with Dr. Shrikant was most engaging and interesting during which Alums across programs questioned him on the vision of SPJIMR & how he, as the head of the institute envisages the position of SPJIMR in the future. It was a stimulating session followed by felicitation of the batches of PGDM (1994), EMBA(1999) & PGPM(2004) by their respective program heads.

“Abhyudaya” was introduced to the Alumni and the “sitaras” performed a dance recital, vocal recital & a tae-kwon-do demonstration.

The session in the auditorium was wrapped up with a musical extravaganza presented by the SPJIMR Music group.

The meet was attended by faculty members, admin members, and students from PGP1. The meet concluded with dinner and fellowship lasting till the wee hours.
