Workshop on Component Business Modeling
As a part of SPJIMR-IBM SSME centre activities, a 6hrs workshop on Component Business Modeling (CBM) has been scheduled on Thursday 16th December 2010. The details of the workshop are as below:
Date: 16th December 2010
Time: 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Venue: SSME Lab, SPJIMR Campus
Conceptually CBM is a generic way to approach any business (Finance, IM, Ops, and Marketing etc). It represents the entire business in a simple framework that fits on a single page. It is an evolution of traditional views of a business, such as business unit, function, geographic or process. After a comprehensive analysis of the composition of each business, we map these individual building blocks, or components, onto a single page, which gives a view of your entire business.
CBM is a core IP of the IBM consulting practice. The company typically charges a fair amount of fee to the industry participants in a similar workshop. However, since this workshop is organized by the SSME center, there will be no training fee charged to the participants.
