The Alumni meet at Singapore was held on 6th August at the SPJCM campus. It was attended by Prof Abbas, Prof Bindu and Prof Aditi. There was an excellent and encouraging turn-out of 30 alumni present going right back till the 1986 batch all the way up to the 2009 batch.

The alumni were very interested in all the updates from SPJIMR and were happy with the initiative from the institute. It was wonderful to see that they all are well connected internally and have a strong and well bonded network.

They expressed that they would love to get together for engagements with institute in the future. They also came up with innovative ideas on how they can contribute back to the institute. Some wanted to participate in MDPs on Negotiation skills.

17 alumni volunteered for ALPAL (A mentoring program for current students) and some were interested in making a difference with Abhyudaya. A majority said that a PG Lab for the Alumni and having chapter-meets around festivals like Diwali, Holi were also great ideas for greater participation.
